How to Make a Death Note Book
Friday, 23 March, 2007, I made a Death Note Book with a guide from my friend, xvain. And this is my Death Note.
Do you want it? For those who loves Death Note, you can make the Death Note by yourself. This is the guide how to make the Death Note Book.
The materials which are needed:
- A color printer
- A note book, bigger than the usual is better
- Some glue or tape for sticking
- Printer papers (Have a bigger size than your note book)
- Death Note writing
- Scanner (Optional)
And this is the guide:
- First of all, download the Death Note writing picture. Then, edit it to a bigger size or anything as you like.
- Make a picture file, with a black color inside the picture (The picture size must be bigger than your note book). For easy step, scan your note book with your scanner, so you know your book size. If you have made the picture, copy and paste the Death Note Writing to your picture. Edit it to a bigger size if the Death Note writing look smaller in the picture.This is for your front cover.
- Make one black color picture file again. But this time, without the Death Note Writing. This is for your back cover.
- Print the pictures with your printer papers.
- After that, wrap it to your note book. Stick the open side with your glue or tape.
- Addition! Make 2 black sheet again, without Death Note writing. This extra sheets are for covering the inside covers which are not black. If you are diligent, you can print the “How to Use” pages like in the anime. Click here to get the picture.
- Congratulation if your Death Note Book is finished. If you have problem, just comment ok?

1-I made this.
2-I wrote the name Jordan Georgiev (this is a kid that i knew and he was in jail 3 times even when he is 13 years old) and after it i wrote DIES FROM SHARK IN THE WATER.
3-The next day he was not in school.
4-He disapeared.
5-The police didn’t find him.
6-2 kids find a shark body in the small river near my city.
7-The body of Jordan Georgiev was there.(only the head)

hahaha….why dont u just print the letters in white against a black paper…that would save lots of ink….and the death note lettering on the front can be handwritten with liquid eraser…tsk tsk…i’ll show u my death note one of these days….i just use black cartolina for the front and back and some pages inside….not for the lazy assed….

You know, if you go to office depot, office max, or just a office supply store you can have up to 150 sheets of paper, blanc, striped etc. in a plastic cover that resembles greatly the death note’s cover, as for the death note writing you can either print it and paste it ar just write it with liquid paper, and for the instructions you can use black sheets of paper and just print the outline of the instructions as to save ink.
Jorge, that’s the same thing I did. I found a 7×9.5 black note book at Staple’s. It had the word “record” in gold on the bottom corner of the cover. I roughed it up with a Scotch brite pad then sprayed with vinyl paint. Like a black car with a dent, you can’t see it unless the light is just right. The lettering I found on onemanga.com. Cover and instructions. The cover letters were done by pouncing. Poke pin holes in the cover letters every 1/8 inch, tape it in place then pat it with a sock or other cloth wadded up with chauk dust in it. Paint over the dots with white acrylic or liquid paper.
Maybe I should make this. Not because I wanna kill someone, because I want to. xD
